Which states does Vitren serve?

Vitren serves patients in all 50 US states. Telehealth consultations with independent US-licensed physicians are available in all 50 states, and prescriptions are prepared and dispensed by licensed US pharmacies that ship to all 50 states. A small number of individual treatments are not available in every state. Where that applies, it is shown on the treatment before checkout.

How does it work?

You complete a guided medical questionnaire and checkout. An independent US-licensed physician reviews your information and determines whether treatment is appropriate. If it is, your medication is prepared by a licensed US compounding pharmacy and shipped to your door. If it is not, you are notified and refunded.

Who provides the medical care?

Medical services are provided by independent licensed physicians. Vitren is a health brand and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Which pharmacies prepare the medication?

Licensed US pharmacies, including licensed US compounding pharmacies. The pharmacy prepares your prescription only after a physician has written it.

Are these medications FDA-approved?

Some medications referenced are compounded. Compounded drug products are not approved or evaluated for safety, effectiveness, or quality by the FDA. Your physician will discuss what is appropriate for you.

What if I am not approved?

Not all patients qualify. If a physician determines that treatment is not appropriate for you, you are notified and refunded.

Do I have to visit a clinic?

No. The intake, the physician review and every follow-up happen online. There is nothing to travel to and no appointment to book.

What is included in the price?

One price covers the consultation, the medication and shipping. There is no separate consultation fee and no hidden fees. You see the total before you pay.

Do I need insurance?

No. Vitren is not billed through insurance. You pay one clear price for each treatment.

Do I need a referral?

No. You start with the online intake, and a licensed physician reviews your case.

Do I need lab work?

In most cases no. A physician may request lab work based on your history or the treatment being considered, and will tell you if it is required.

Can I message a physician after I start?

Yes. You can message your care team at any time without an appointment, and a physician answers. Plans are adjusted when needed.

How is the medication delivered?

It ships to your door in plain packaging from a licensed US pharmacy.

What happens if I stop treatment?

You can stop at any time. Speak to your physician first, because for some treatments they will want to lower the dose gradually rather than end it at once. Our Cancellation policy sets out how to cancel.

Can my own doctor be involved?

Yes. You can share your treatment plan with your primary care doctor, and a summary is available on request.

How is my information handled?

Your information is handled in line with our Privacy policy. If you have a question about your data, contact support@vitren.us.
